Frontin explores sound in its various dimensions and extensions in time and space. Her work addresses both the containment of sound and its overflow, the volume it occupies in space, and its materiality and sculptural and visual possibilities. Her explorations of repetition, negative space, and sonic form unfold in sculptures, installations, and sound performances.

Her practice investigates how sound not only occupies space but also defines and transforms it. The relationship between painting and object is central to her work, treating sound as something physical, subject to both containment and expansion. Recurring themes include the idea of partial space, the tension between presence and absence, and the balance between the visible and invisible, the audible and inaudible. By considering sound as something that can be contained within time and space, Frontin challenges the notion of sonic ephemerality, creating experiences that engage the body, architecture, and silence.

She holds a master's degree in visual poetics from PPGAV - ECA/ USP and has completed the Foundation Course at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. She participated in the Summer University program at Capacete Entretenimentos in Rio de Janeiro and was part of the Visual Arts Project Mentorship Program at the SESC Center for Training and Research. For her first solo exhibition at Centro Cultural São Paulo, she presented the sound
installation Virada as part of the II Mostra do Programa de Exposições 2018. In 2021, she created a commissioned video for the aarea platform in the virtual space of the Jeu de Paume museum. In 2022, she participated in the exhibition cápsula vazia caindo no chão de concreto at Espaço Delirium and presented the sound piece sem intervalo at the opening of Perigo!, a solo exhibition by Dora Longo Bahia at Galeria Vermelho in São Paulo. In 2023, she took part in the group exhibition Esfíngico Frontal, curated by Germano Dushá at Galeria Mendes Wood DM in São Paulo. In 2024, she participated in the group exhibition Màquines, ruletes, trucs I trampes at Centre d’Art Maristany in Sant Cugat, Barcelona, and in Arte Sonora Ano 15* at the Cavalariças of the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro.
